Confessions of a recovering depressive

The trouble with Crystal is...
About me: just trying to get by college and end up on the other end not having burnt out all her creative passions.
Purpose of my blog: To finally figure out, what exactly is the trouble with Crystal?
Farce aside, this blog is about my search for sustainable happiness. It follows my transformation and personal development from someone diagnosed with clinical depression to a (hopeful) recovery. It records the individual experiments (e.g. vegetarianism, exercise, etc.) and the effects that it has on my journey. It provides the back story to explain how I got to where I was. Even though a lot of the material is personal and often embarrassing, I want to share it because it is a part of who I am. Ultimately, the blog is to share my story in the hope that it might help someone, somewhere out there: to know that you are not alone, and that there are ways to feel better again.
