The purpose of this blog is to finally figure out, what exactly is the trouble with Crystal?

Originally, I started the blog in 2009 after my grandmother died and I was diagnosed with clinical depression. The blog served as a way to introspect and share my experiences with others.

It has been two years, and I am no longer depressed, but I still carry on the lessons I learned during that experience: that I must take care of myself, that I can take steps to become a better person, that I shouldn’t delay happiness.

After a brief hiatus, I am restarting my blog with the similar but broader theme of personal development. The world is constantly throwing new things our way to discover. We owe it to the world, then, to properly reflect on its gifts, use its lessons to become better people, and make the world a better place.

Hobbies: Karaoke, writing and receiving letters, collecting shot glasses, learning foreign languages, traveling, sledding, chatting over tea/coffee/beer, eating (coke gummy candy), indoor rock climbing, squash

I can talk forever about: Human rights, womens rights, labor issues, Chinese, Asian history,  volunteering, and relationships issues

Philosophy: Be honest. Raw and sincere.
