Newcomer’s Pitstop

Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to visit The Trouble with Crystal (TTWC), the cyberspace for my rants, reflections, debates, histories, and future plans. I am starting now with TTWC 2.0, so there is no need to read through old posts to catch up.

There is only one rule for reading TTWC: 

Drop all your judgments. I realize that much of what I say may be selfish, immature, whiny, and petty, but it’s what I’m feeling at the moment. I don’t filter my thoughts so that I will come out looking as a golden person. I just tell it as it is.

You may also choose to:

1. Read My Ego Page, where I briefly introduce myself and my mission.
2. Subscribe to my RSS feed to get updates when I make a new post
3. Follow me on Twitter to get more up-to-the-minute information about my adventures and mood ratings
4. Ask Crystal any questions you might have about anything (related or not to my posts)!

For those of you familiar with TTWC 1.0, which focused on my struggle with depression, don’t despair! I will still be writing about similar topics, and my old posts are still online. If you would like to sift through past material to wrap your head around who exactly I am and what this blog is about, might I suggest:

1. The first post,  the night I had the inspiration to start blogging. Although this post focuses on guy issues, that explains only the inspiration, but not the overall purpose of the blog.
2. My favorite post about my heartbreak in the past
3. Epic Fail, where I recap my main goals and also introduce my mood-rating system (the numbers you see on the bottom of my posts).
4. Ramblings about guys, to get a flavor for my stream of consciousness on a topic which constantly bothers me
5. My writings fall into two categories. Self-improvement: These topics include exercising, eating healthy, improving social relations, personal development, improving my sleeping habits, academics, and guys. The second class is peripherally related, and is me talking about topics of interest hoping that someone might actually read it: current events that I find important/shocking/curious, sex (a topic I love to discuss), and other miscellaneous topics. I also often travel to China for personal or academic pursuits.
